I consider myself someone willing to try just about anything especially when it comes to fashion and food, but destroyed jeans never quite made it to my list of things to experiment. I guess being the perfectionist that I am, I could never quite justify why I’d pay for something to be “pre-destroyed” for me when I could potentially eventually do it myself if I didn’t take care of it. Well, that was until about a couple of months ago when this pair of Abercrombie jeans caught my eye. Something about its wash made me want it. I could see wearing the different pairs of colorful leggings I own underneath this pair of jeans. Oh, how cute would it be to have colors and prints peak through from underneath??!!! My imagination started to run so wild I knew I had to buy it. But let me tell you this. Even though the original idea was to wear leggings underneath it, I still haven’t done so because I just love the feel of this denim THAT much. I swear by my Paige denim, but I think it’s safe to say Abercrombie might have created a destroyed jeans monster out of me. When it gets even colder, I know I’ll wear my leggings underneath, but for now, I just love wearing this on its own!

This shoot took place on one of the most beautiful days this winter. My blog is clearly still very new – and could use more posts – but if you’ve skimmed over my site, you’ve probably picked up on my love for off-the-shoulder styles. Another Abercrombie piece, this is one of my favorite sweaters to date. I love the relaxed fit and how soft yet warm it is. Paired with those jeans, I literally felt like I was wearing the coziest pajamas the entire time we were out!

I opted for simpler accessories that day, like this Kate Spade purse, along with these Chloe+Isabel choker and drop earrings, both of which are on sale right now, by the way! Chokers are always my go-to when I wear off-the-shoulder pieces because they add a nice focal point while still allowing a girl to show off her collarbone and shoulders. This Kate Spade purse was a gift from Pritom a couple of years ago, so it’s no longer available, but I found a very similar one from the site that might be more resistant to dirt than mine is since it’s pebbled leather. I love, love, love mine, but I’m always afraid to get the leather dirty so I only carry it on sunny days or on days I know I won’t be eating with my hands…silly, I know, but I’m a huge klutz!

If you live on the East Coast, I hope you’re staying warm on this snow day!
