Fashion

As you may know by now, I love to bring pieces that I know can transition well from day to night, and from a casual to possibly a more formal setting when I travel. However, I also anticipate that there will be days when I won’t want to think about what to wear but instead, focus entirely on my itinerary. Yes, as much as I love to style and put together outfits, I, too have my lazy days. For days like these, I throw on the basic tee. For me, it’s often a V-neck because I find it so flattering, and depending on the weather, I’ll pair it with a pair of jeans or shorts, or a cute little skirt that’s enough to make a bit of a statement.

You probably recall my post on where I like to shop for my basics. Uniqlo is still, by far, my favorite place for t-shirts because they’re made of amazingly soft supima cotton. They’re so comfortable, and for the most part, don’t wrinkle easily (at least, not if I fold or roll them properly into my suitcase), which is why I always make sure I pack a few when I travel. I’ve learned over the years that these shirts are often only stocked for the spring and summer, so if you don’t see an abundance of them available on the website yet, wait for just a couple of weeks or a month, and I’m almost positive they’ll pop right back up.

Do you have a go-to store/ website for your comfy clothes?

SHOP THE PIECES:

| T-shirts: Uniqlo | Jeans: FRAME, Paige | Sneakers: Puma | Sandals: ECCO (similar) | Sunglasses: Burberry |

I’m so sorry for this long overdue post. This is so embarrassing to even say, but for a split second, I forgot what link to use to blog! Yep, that pretty much sums up how long it’s been since I last posted and all the craziness that’s happened in the last 4 months! As I’ve […]

I don’t identify with just one particular fashion style because I pretty much dress the way I feel on any given day, but I do tend to gravitate toward a certain few more than others – one of them being boho-chic. I love that effortless, relaxed look. I’m also a sucker for the embroidery found […]

It’s been a month since we went to London (fun travel posts to follow), and now that I’ve finally transferred all of our pictures into my computer, it’s time I shared all fashion-, food- and travel-related aspects of our trip! Let’s start with the fashion though, and especially now that summer is officially over, there […]

I’m a LuLaRoe consultant, so I’m clearly biased, but aside from my LuLaRoe, I do still own a lot of other brands of clothing, and the fact that I often reach for my LuLaRoe pieces in my closet says a lot about their comfort. Also, I love that I never have to iron any of […]

I love shoes, but unfortunately, my feet are fussy and much to my dismay, don’t like some of the prettiest¬†styles that steal my heart. So, naturally, shoes that make it to my closet need to not only be cute but also be comfortable and make my feet happy. As you probably remember from my last […]

I love to use colors to express how I feel at a certain point in time, or let them reflect my current surroundings. On this gloomy day, I went for a black tank top under a gray, anchor-print cardigan, paired with a full eyelet skirt. Both the tank top and skirt are from Uniqlo. If […]

As much of a city girl as I am, I love to make that 45-minute drive out to New Hope at least twice in the spring or summer. Honestly, at this point, I’ve been there enough times I don’t really do much other than walk to Jersey and back, sit at this French cafe that […]

If you’ve read my “About Me” page, you’d know I’m obsessed with all wedding-related things. I thought about sharing our wedding details on the actual date of our third anniversary, but I ended up coming down with a terrible cold, after having fought off another just a few days prior…and then, well, we were on […]

I consider myself someone willing to try just about anything especially when it comes to fashion and food, but destroyed jeans never quite made it to my list of things to experiment. I guess being the perfectionist that I am, I could never quite justify why I’d pay for something to be “pre-destroyed” for me […]
